Alyssa’s keynote & professional development series focuses on Canada’s underrepresented history and the stories of marginalized communities that occupy the land. Her humorous and no-nonsense talks shed light on stories that are traditionally left out of the history books.
She presents on topics related to anti-Black racism, instructional design, anti-racist and anti-bias education, adapting the curriculum for the modern classroom, and an array of topics related to social justice education.
Please note, Alyssa does not offer keynotes on Indigenous epistemologies or Indigenous ceremony; please contact a Knowledge Keeper, Elder, or your local friendship centre.
