Herstorically Speaking is an Instagram edu-series that excavates stories from historically underrepresented groups in Canada. The series started in 2020 as a set of Instagram posts and grew to include an accompanying podcast. Herstorically Speaking seeks to bring consciousness to stories through an anti-racist and anti-bias lens with the hope that with knowledge comes action. These informational posts have been used in classrooms across Canada by educators eager to subvert traditional colonial education norms.
